Bringing the outside in
It’s not often a winter wedding venue manages to give guests the freedom to enjoy the outside delights of a venue while keeping warm and snug. But the heated marquee at No.4 Hamilton Place does just that. As well as being able to enjoy the plants and flowers on our Terrace, guests will also be able to make the most of the views over Hyde Park that our venue boasts.
If you’re looking for a winter wedding venue in London then you couldn’t find a more welcoming choice than No.4 Hamilton Place. From its plush décor to its heated marquee, our Edwardian townhouse has lots of fantastic features that make it an ideal venue for winter weddings. Read on to find out why we think we’ve got something unique to offer couples on their big day…
Atmosphere is one of the most important things to consider at any wedding. The early sunset in the winter means that our wedding team can use soft up-lighting to create a romantic mood in our Edwardian townhouse as it bounces off the stunning, period features.
As well as being seen from the floor to ceiling windows which feature in a lot of our rooms, the night sky also dominates the backdrop in our clear, fully heated marquee. The twinkly lights in the cosy space on our Terrace create a magical atmosphere, perfect for celebrating a very special day.
Our London winter wedding venue has warm and welcoming décor. The rich reds, blues and golds of the sumptuous fabrics and walls and the deep mahoganies of the woodwork which run throughout the venue lend themselves perfectly to celebrations held in the colder months of the year. The colour palette also works well for winter blooms allowing florists to get creative and make beautiful arrangements for our mantlepieces and table centres.
The resident, in-house chefs from Blue Strawberry are experts when it comes to creating fabulous menus that celebrate the best of every season. Their autumn and winter dishes are no exception. From sirloin of beef and seabass fillets to poached rhubarb panna cotta and baked apple terrine, there will be something to suit every couples’ palette.
Using traditional flavours and local, seasonal ingredients wherever possible, our team produce elegant, contemporary dishes that perfectly suit a winter wedding.
Summer weddings are hugely dependent on the weather to ensure fabulous photography, but a winter wedding at No.4 Hamilton Place will always guarantee great pictures by which you can remember your day. The beautiful, sweeping staircase is a wedding photographer’s dream and there are dozens of other stunning backdrops for group and couple shots.
